Ali Taher Khani
On Thursday, January 18, 1404, Javidnam Ali Taher Khani, an Azeri citizen from Takestan, was attacked and severely beaten by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic with batons and gun butts while he and his friends were standing next to their parked motorcycle in the Imam Reza Bazaar in this city. The 31-year-old citizen died on January 19 after being transferred to a hospital in Qazvin and declared brain dead due to severe brain hemorrhage.
Ali Taher Khani and his fiancée wanted to hold their wedding ceremony in June next year.
A girl who was in love with Ali wrote somewhere:
What can I do with the hope of becoming a bride this summer?
You were the first love of my life, Ali… What can I do without you, Ali!
Ali Taher Khani's immortal body has been laid to rest in the Behesht Fatimah cemetery in Takestan (Qazvin), where he is buried.
